About Earth Animal

Hey, it’s us... your friends at Earth Animal. We’ve come along way, since 1979 from a little natural pet store that Susan opened next to Dr. Bob’s Veterinary Hospital at the time.

Let’s start with the founders of Earth Animal; Dr. Bob and Susan Goldstein. They are our mentors. They taught us all we know about health and wellness. They gave us the knowledge and products on how to take care of our animals the healthful way. Most important, they taught us that we do not own our pets! They are our spiritual companions…this is our mission. Under the guidance of Susan and Dr. Bob, our Earth Animal store and our products are as green, organic, natural and pure as possible. Every product has been approved by Dr. Bob and has been given the big thumbs up so that your dog and cat can only thrive…It’s awesome at EA! Thanks Dr. Bob and Susan…

Now, many of you know us by name, but some do not…So, let us tell you who lives and breathes the Earth Animal philosophy day to day and year after year…

Merritt Goldstein, the daughter of Dr. Bob and Susan, has been running the Ark for 17 years. She loves EA and has held the hands of many clients over the years. She brings Lulu, a 4 year old Lhasa Apso to work everyday and is grateful that the work she does is a complete joy… who can really say that after 17 years?

If you haven’t met John, that is a surprise! He has been with Earth Animal for 11 years. He lives with two Yorkies Charles and Oliver

Betsy has been with the Earth Animal family for six years. She is the Mommy of Sophie and Finn(beagles). She runs the Retail Ship, keeps us all in check and loves her work and all of the animals and their people that she has met over the years.

Chris came on board about 4 years ago, he is our little brother who has grown into a great healer and educator to say the least. He is the Daddy of two pups (Gus and Bernie). He knows a lot about dog and cat foods and is the master at analyzing ingredient panel and is on top of quality control.

And of course, there's our goldfish Betty and Minnie.

So that is a little bit “about us” and feel free to introduce yourselves and send us pictures of you and your companions. We love to put a name with a face.
